PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) is a holistic approach that assesses the whole child to determine where motor breakdowns are occuring. PROMPT is most known for being a tactile-kinesthetic (touch and feel) approach where an SLP places his/her hands onthe client’s face to guide his/her jaw, lips, and tongue to move correctly to form words. The PROMPT approach requires specific training and has various levels of training available. As Jen is a PROMPT Instructor, she has achieved the highest level of training possible. At this time, we do not accept insurance directly. However, we strive to keep our private pay rates fair and transparent. We’re happy to provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. We recommend checking with your plan to see if out-of-network speech therapy services are covered. If you have any questions, we’re here to help guide you through the process!
